The Department of CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology, KGF, in association with the Dr. TTIT Institution’s Innovation Council, successfully conducted an inspiring session on 9 February 2026 at the Cisco Lab.

The programme, led by Dr. R. Ezhilan, Associate Professor, CSE (AI & ML), aimed at motivating women faculty and students to actively engage in AI-based research, innovation, and projects, while encouraging the use of AI tools in teaching–learning practices.

With the enthusiastic participation of 7 faculty members and 29 students (Total: 36 participants), the session proved to be impactful and motivating.

A Virtual Quiz on AI Concepts & Applications was organized by Dr. T. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (IIC) and the Department of Mining Engineering, in association with the Mining Emerald Club, on 4 February 2026. The event witnessed the participation of 95 students from the Mining, CSE, and ECE departments and helped create awareness about basic AI concepts and their real-time applications.

The 7th Sem Semester Electronics & Communication Engineering students undertook an industrial visit to NARL (under Department of Space), Gadanki, AP on 14/11/2025, where they received structured exposure to atmospheric research facilities and radar-based instrumentation. The visit significantly enhanced their technical understanding and industry preparedness.
